Cliristabel Pankhurst has telegraphed to the Women's Political Union stating the reason that there are fewer, serving sentences is a belief that it is bad tactics to sacrifice the health and energy of so many women for mere window-breaking, which was formerly useful, but now oniy assists the Government to capture the great ranks of women.

SCENE IN THE COMMONS

A man, a stranger, in the gallery of the House of Commons created a scene by firing a toy pistol. He was ejected* shouting "Justice for women !". Immediately another man shouted "Why don't you give women votes?" and scattered a quantity of literature and several toy mouse traps. He was ejected.
