REPORT
Messrs Matthews, Bennett and Co. report that there Mas a good entry of erttle in their Inglewood yards on Wednesday last, bidding was much better than late sales, and nearly everything was sold as follows: Good calves £2 to £2 12s, Jersey heifer weaners £3 3s-, store cows £2 19s to £4 10s, spring ealvers £4 10s ■ o £6 ss, springers £5 10s to £8 7s id, aged ewes in lamb 14s 3d. Messrs McEwan Bros', dairy herd made: Poor and backward cows £2 15s to £4 15s ■load £5 7s Gd to £8 2s Gd,
At Mr W. Gray's clearing sale on Thursday there was a good attendance. Backward cows made £3 7s Gd to £4 14s, forward do. £5 2s Gd to G 8 as, in calf heifers £3 13s 6d, chestnut mare £26 10s, hay horse £2l, and sundries at satisfactory prices. ' They also report the sale of Mr H. X. Rowe's section of 48 acres on the Junction Road to the Trustees in the estate of the late John Rowe, and Mr J. G. Glassford's farm of 300 acres on the Richmond Road to a local investor.
