MEW ZEALAND PRODUCTS.

QUESTION OF DIRECT TRADE

[By Electric Telegraph—Copyright] [United Press Association.] (Received 9.50 a.m.) London, July 11. The Hon. Thomas M.ackenzic(New Zealand High Commissioner), after two days' inspection of the Hull docks and stores, speaking at a Chamber of Commerce luncheon, stated that New Zealand is able to send many products of the liighest quality for the eleven million consumers supplied through Hull. The shipping link alone was required. A subsidy would be necessary in the initiatory stages. He believes direct trade would save live to seven per cent., which could be shared between the producers and consumers.
