N.S.W. COUNTRY PARTY.

JETTING INTO PRACTICAL WORK

[ By Electric Telegraph —Copyright] [Uniteb Press Association.] (Received 9.50 a.m.) Sydney, July 12. The Farmers' Conference resolved that undertakings such as the iNorth Shore bridge should not be built with public money, as it was only designed to solve local problems, and gave no advantage for the extension of facilities for production and distribution.

It was decided to establish a register of those willing to replace strikers where strikes are likely to cause loss to producers. Mr. Wade addressed the Conference, and traversed Mr Holman's address. He outlined the Liberals' proposals foi developing country interests, and urged that there was no reason why the country party and the Liberals should not use their votes in a common effort behind one man against the common enemy of Labor-Socialism.
