NAPIER PARK MEETING. Napier, June 26. The Napier Park Racing Club’s winter meeting concluded to-day in fine weather. The sum of £14,491 was put through the machine, compared with £11,769 on the second day of last year, the total for the two days being £29.12-1 as against £22,439 for the last winter meeting. Additional results were as follows: Hunt Club Steeplechase, of 100 sovs; two miles and a quarter.—-I Otupai 1, 3 The Chief 2, 1 Master Webb 3. Won by six lengths. Time omin 33sec.
Poraite Hurdles, of 110 sovs; one mile and three-quarters.—3Aberbro-thock 1, 7 Stevens 2,2 Prince Eddie 3. Allure turned a somersault at the third fence and broke his back.
