EASTER GYMKHANA AT STRATFORD.
Mr A. J. Hansen has declared the following 'handicaps for, tho Cycling events at tho Stratford Gymkhana:—
The following handicaps have been declare for the Trotting events:— 1 Milo Trot.—All horses off scratch, li Mile Trot. —Tip Top scr., Madcap 20sec, Cerise 30sec, Bess 30sec, Miss Huia 30sec, Fernroot 30sec, Tom Boy 30sec, Mona, 30sec, Gothic 30sec. Mr. T. Lamason’s Report. Last Saturday I held my usual weekly sale with a very good attendance of, the public. I quote as follows :—Geese 3s to 4s, ducks Is 3d to 2s, hens. Is to 2s, pullets Is 6d, 2s 6d; potatoes 8s Cd to 9s cwt., cabbage about 2s 6d per sack, peaches Is to 3s 6d, plums 4s, pears 2s Gd to 3s, apples 2s to 5s 6d according to quality and sine of case.
