DISCOVERY OF A WRECK.

TRAMP STEAMER STRANDED. (Received 9.30 a.m.) Sydney, January 7. A large steamer is reported to have •been sighted recently stranded on Lisbon Reef off the Queensland coast. The mainmast and funnel are missing, and apparently the steamer had been abandoned. The wreck was first seen by an auxiliary ketch bound to New Guinea. The wreck appeared to be a large tramp, bound probably to Java and China.
