DYNAMITERS SENTENCED
S.CENES IN COURT.

A verdict of guilty was returned against' thirty-eight Labour Union officials who were charged with complicity in the dynamite plots, including dynamiting the. Los Angeles Times. Frank Ryan, president of the International Structural Steel Workers, was found guilty of using the Union’s funds to destroy the property, «f refund to recognise the Union. The wives of the men were in the Court and became 'hysterical on the announcement of the ve/dict, painful scenes following.
The Judge branded John Butler, vice-president of the Iron Workers, as a perjurer, when he denied in His evidence that McNamara drew £2OO monthly as pay .for the dynamiting. An appeal lias been lodged.
