Sydney, December 29. At Sydney TattersalTs meeting the: Hurdle race resulted:—Askome T, King Lucre 2, Kairoma 3. Five started. Won by six lengths. Time, 3min 50|sec. Rutter -fell and ins injuries necessitated his destruction. Carrington Stakes: Ruby Hampton 1, A u war a Eliya 2, Hot Air 3. Thirty started. There was a line finish among half a dozen. Won by half a lengtu, with a head between second and third. Time, Train 15£soc. Moonee Valley Welter.—All Good 1, Advantage 2, Tenterhook 3. Won by a length. Twelve started. Time, Train IGfsec. Perth, December 29. The Perth Cup, run on Saturday, resulted: Sparkle I,' Maori Lad 2, Swagger 3. Eighteen'horses started. Won by a length, with a head between second and third. Time, 3min 32 T-Seec. : AUCKLAND RACES. Auckland, December 30. The’ races were continued in fine weather. The course was fast and the attendance large. Results:— , Bowen Handicap.—-Worcester 1, Peg 2, Parawai 3. Scratched: Almeida, Anniplione, Toreador, Lady Elgiva. Worcester was in front all the-way, whining by a, short head. Time, Imin 15 2-ssec. Islington Plate.—Bobrikoff 1, Blcriot 2," Bon, Reve 3. These were the only starters. Bon Reve made the running toi the home turn, where Bleriot and Bobrikoff came up, the latter winning by a head in I rain 3d 4-ssec—a New Zealand record. Ponsofiby Hurdles.—Golden Loop 1, Don Quex 2, Miss Explosion, 3. Scratched: Koran. Don Qucx Tod to the last fence when Golden Loop came through .and won easily by T.V lengths. Time, '3rain >l7 2-ssec.
Visitors’ Handicap.—Tact 1, Winning Way 2, Kakama 3. All started. Tact was in front practically all the way and won by three-quarters of a length, half a length'■between second and third. Time, train 3-sscc.
