HIS MAJESTY’S THEATIM
His Majesty’s Theatre was crowded last night, when the new programme met with a splendid reception, the many excellent pictures being loudly applauded. “Treasure Island” us worthy of all the flattering notices it lias been given elsewhere, and Hebert Louis Stevenson's masterpiece is admirably treated. The pietnre is an artistic production, and the thrilling scenes of this famous story do not suffer at the hands of the cinematograph actors. The scenic pictures arc remarkable for their beauty “A Trip to Tahiti” stands put as a splendid picture, while the “Holiday in ,\c« Brunswick,” and “Swedish Waterfalls are worthy of the highest traditions of scientific film production. From title to trademark the “Outcast among Outcasts” is a winner. Dealing with American tramp life 1 ii gives a crisp clean story, that was much appreciated by patrons last night. “Saved by Telephone” sounds a good picture, and when released looks even better. Excellent comics were screened, among them “Patrick’s eyes were Opened,” “Butler and the Maid,” “Would-be Shriner,” and “A Bunch of the Best.” To-night the same bill will he given.
