A MYSTERIOUS AFFAIR

A body with a bullet wound in the chest was found on the recks near Bondi, and has been identified as that of Frederick Charles Bartholomew, aged 20. a native of Ireland, who arrived from New Zealand a fortnight ago. It is uncertain whether the case is one of suicide or murder. No firearm. wa < - discovered. Deceased is said to have had a considerable sum of money, but his pockets w we found to lie empty.
