The attendance was very large, and p;oin was greatly improved, though still on the heavy side. Results:— Tararua Handicap'.—Grown Trout 1, Daunion 2, Avar.ncc 3. AH started. Won by a quarter of a length, one length separating second and third. Time, ] nun 3G 4-osec, Juvenile Handicap.—Pcronella 1, Secret Link 2, Prince .Laddn 3. All started. Won by three-quarters of a length, a neck between second and third. Time, 53 4-ssec. Trial Stakes.—Exertion 1, Lockwood 2, Missile 3. Scratched: Pa ram arama, Porsil, Expect, Otakura, Neirene, and Somila. Won by a length, and two lengths between second and third. Time, Imin 21 -l-ssec.
