After the civic reception to General Baden-Powell, a parade was held in the Domain, at which between two and three thousand cadets were present and about four hundred Scouts. Colonel Wolfe was in command. When the Governor arrived at the saluting pomt, accompanied by the v hiel Scout, the Boy Scouts received their chief with a Scout "rally," tlie cadets standing to attention. After inspection the boys marched past. lho Scouts subsequently gave a display ol bridge building, signalling, etc. At the conclusion of the parade t'ley formed up into three sides of a square, and the boys were addressed by His Excellency 'and General Baden-Pow-ell The'General later gave a lecture in the Town Hall, subseqnuently leaving for the south.
