FREEHOLD NOT WANTED.
AMONG AGRARIAN TENANTS IN ENGLAND AND WALES. STATE LEASE RECOMMENDED. London, January 11. The Daily Chronicle states that the committee appointed to deal with the question of the breaking up of large estates reports against the tenant purchase, finding no demand for ownershop or State assisted purchase among the agricultural tenants of England md Wales, The committee recommends that when large estates become vacant the State should purchase them and lease to the tenant occupiers.
