HOLIDAY HOURS.

AT THE POST OFFICE

Following are the hours to be observed and the ciuties perfoi nied at the Stratford Post Office over the Christmas and New Year holidays: On Monday, 25th inst., Christmas Day, the Post Office will be closed, the telegraph office open from 9.30 to 10 a.m. and again from 5 to 5.30 p.m., and the exchange open from 9 to 10 a.m. and 5 to 6 p.m. There will bo no clearance of pillar posting boxes, nor any delivery by letter carriers. All mails will be closed at 8 a.m. On Tuesday, 26th December, Boxing Day, the Post Office will be open in all branches (except money order and savings bank) from 9 to 10 a.m., and the telegraph office open from 9 to 10 a.m. and again from 7 to 8 p.m. The usual hours will be observed at the telepnone exchange. There will be one clearance of pillar posting boxes (at 7 a.m.), and one delivery by letter carriers. All mails will close at 8 a.m. On Monday. Ist January (New Year’s Day), the Post Oflice will be closed, tlic telegraph office open from 9 to 10 and again from i to 8 p.m., and usual hours at the exchange. There will bo the usual morning clearance of pillar posting boxes, and all mails will close at 8 a.m. On the evenings of Saturday. 23rd,inst., and 30th inst., there will bo a delivery over the counter between 7 and 8 p.m. of town letters, including registered articles.
