Madame Curie (chemistry), Professor Weui (physics), and Professor Cullstrand (mediciue) received Nobel prizes. Maeterlinck got the literature prize—lie holds it at present. T. Aster, a member of the Dutch Ministry, and Ai'ried, editor of a \ iciiua paper, snared the Peace Prize.
