A SEASONABLE OFFERING.
Finding his stock heaviec than it should be by about £3OOO, Mr A. Spence, Broadway, Stratford, has denied to make a special effort to reluce it to a proper limit. The plan he has adopted is to give a big Christmas cash bonus to every cash buyer at? his stor eprior to the New Year. The bonus consists of a discount of not less than 10 per cent off every purchase made amounting to lOd and over. Put shortly this means taking 2s off every £, or £lO off every £IOO worth of goods sold. The concessions are most liberal, and, when it is remembered that the new summer fashions li avo only recently arrived, there should ho a big run on Spence’s store during the next few weeks. All departments are now replete with new goods, including ladies’ hats, costumes, lustre coats, dress goods, prints and muslins, calicoes, sheetings, curtains, art muslins, hosiery and gloves, umbrellas and sunshades, laces and embroideries, men’s and boys’ suits, etc. But it is impossible to mention all the lines in a stock so comprehensive. Wo would just add, visit this store now and buy and you will be pleased and profited.* _ L _.—iiittf
