LIQUOR PARTY'S MISLEADING STATEMENTS ON COUNTY AND BOROUGH RATES. Liquor Party state Borough Rates will increase by £619 if No-licenso is carried. Mayor of Stratford says the only loss Avill be the License Fees; No extra Rates arc possible. Liquor Party say if No-license it carried the increase cf Rates in the Stratford County would bo £4006. There are only two hotels in the Stratford County and the rates would not he increased by more than £7O on the whole of the Stratford County. Liquor Party say if No-license is carried the increase in the Whangamomona County Rates would ho £855. As there is only one hotel in the whole of the Whangamomona County, and ii pays a License Foe of £BS only, how is it passible for the rate to increase as stated by the Liquor Party? There arc twelve Electorates under No-hcense in the Dominion, and noi one lias found it necessary to raise the Rates either in the Borough or County.*
