NEW SEASON’S WHEAT
(Received 7, 10.30 a.m.) Sydney, November 7. Samples of the new season’s wheat have been received in Sydney, and are of excellent quality. The first truck will reach the city in a day or two. EARTHQUAKE. (Received 7, 9.10 a.m.) Hobart, November 7. A severe earth tremor was felt on Saturday at Queenstown, lasting several seconds. Buildings shook, and loose objects were thrown to the ground.
