CLERKS FORM A UNION
OBJECT TO LABOURING WORK
(Received 7, 10.30 a.m.) Sydney, November 7. As an outcome of the wharf labourers’ strike, a meeting __of clerks adopted a resolution in favdur of the formation of a Clerks’ Union, so that any future request to them to do work other than that for which they were engaged will be resisted. The resolution was forwarded to the steamship owners and the Wh-'f T°bourers’ Union, with a request for the latter’s co-operation.
