A CHARGE OF MANSLAUGHTER.
(Per Press Association.) Auckland, October 19. At the Police Court, John William Mercer, driver of a taxi-cab, was committed for trial on a charge of manslaughter in connection with tho death of Charles Goldsmith, who died after being knocked down by the taxi driven by defendant.
