A SOCIALIST MANIFESTO.
AGAINST COMPULSORY TRAINING. Sydney, August 21. The International Socialist Party has issued a manifesto on conscript boys of Australia. After referring lo the hard life of the working classes and tie possibility of the boys being called out to shoot friends or '•datives on strike, the manifesto adds: “Now is the time to protest against the folly of compulsory training in organised murder. Now is the time to make up your minds not. to take the military oath which deprives a on of will and conscience.”

Mr Fisher, referring to the Socialists’ anti-training manifesto, declared that it was not wise to advertise it over-much. It was a pity anyone should give such advice to young Australians.
