The Australian Steeplechase, of 150 covs.. about four miles.—All acceptors started. Grafnax led out from Leah Kleshna, Steam, Squirm. Leah Kloslma led the second time round, Grafnax dose up. Squirm unseated its rider at the treble. Steam fell at the. top of the hill, Minute and Leah Kleshna disputing tire lead. Entering the straight the third time round, Bribery was down at the last of the treble. Concave went to tiie front at the back of the course, and ran homo an easy winner by six lengths. The Grand National meet’’ ig w;a concluded yesterday in beautiul weather. The attendance, though not ao large as on the preceding days,- was still very good, and speculation was oven more spirited, investments for the day totalling £32,-125, making £91,671) for the meeting, as compared with £60,632 last year, when bookmakers were licensed. The racing was marked by so;no capital finishes, and though there were several spills in the jumping race, none cf them were serious. Results:—

United Hunt Club's Steeplechase, of 100 sovs, about 2J- miles.—Silver Blaze 1, GJonmoro 2, Oakley 3. Also started.—King of Trumps, Kingsway, Revenge, Tariki, Sylvia Maid, and Wirihana. Won by three lengths. King of Trumps and Kingsway fell. Time, brain 8 1-osoc. Heathcoto Handicap, of 250 sovs; 7 furlongs.—Effort 1, Sea King 2, Inoy 3. Also started: Undecided, Nyland, Shuja, Morrio Zealand, Bonny Clen, Fiitawav, Medallist, Negative, Gold Circle, Czar Kololiol, Muniura, Turna, Firoboll, Sublime, and Merry Lass. Won by half a head. Time, lihin 30 4-ssoc.

Styx Hack Hurdles Handicap, of 130 sovs; once round and a distance. —Cardiff 1, Passive 2, Gaelic 3. Also started: Dogger Bank, Gold Pin, Ito, Farley Grove, Sabine, Ranghvhenua, Wairaki, and Togo. Won by a neck. Time, 3min 3 2-osec.

Sydenham Hurdle Handicap, of 359 sc vs ; 1-;1 miles.—Windage 1, Esperanto 2, Compass,3. Also started: Continuancc, The Rover, Master Paul, Staidan, Appin, King Try, Milo, "and Redmond. Won by 5J lengths. Continuance was fourth. Time, 3min 17 1-oscc.

Lincoln' Steeplechase Handicap, of 3bo sovs : about three miles.—Sir Lethe 1, Dorando 2, Winiata 3. Also started: Corazon, Lo Beau, liberty, Rod McGregor, Gapt. Jingle, Eurus, Ribstone Pippin, and Corona. The race was a chapter of accidents, as, with the exception of Ribstone Pippin, only the placed horses completed the course.. Sir Lethe won pulling up by over a hundred yards. Time, brain 8 l-ssec.

Reclcliffs Handicap, of 130 sovs ; 7 furlongs—Eaglestone 1, Nightlight 2, Santa Clans 3. Also started: Ahnapaij Wedge, Frivolitti, Somersault, and Amarl. Won by a length. Time, Imin 32 l-ssec.

Sehvyn Handicap, of 200 sovs; 6 furlongs.—Czar Kololiol 1, Expansion 2, All Guns 3. Also started: Boanerges, Countermine, Kohinoor, Odessa, Negative,, Pucyland, Firobell, Edna May It., Silkweb, Alexis,, Sublime, and Toanga. Won by three parts of a length. Time, drain 17 l-ssec.
