The attendance, though not ao large as on the preceding days,- was still very good, and speculation was oven more spirited, investments for the day totalling £32,-125, making £91,671) for the meeting, as compared with £60,632 last year, when bookmakers were licensed. The racing was marked by so;no capital finishes, and though there were several spills in the jumping race, none cf them were serious. Results:—
