London, August 12. The journal “John Bull’ publishes a confession of one Vernon, who alleges that he was acquitted of the murder of .Neil, of Doondi Station, Queensland, and requested the editor not to publish the information :or a week. The same day Vernon suicided, shooting himself at Victoria Station.
