A MORMON DRIVE.

(Prr Press Association.) Wellington, July 28. Mr G. M. Thomson to-day gave notice to ask tho Acting-Minister of Justice whether he will lock into the question and consider the advisability of taking the necessary steps to rid the country of emissaries of the Mormon faith, who are seeking to spread their immoral dictrines among the people 6f tiiis Dominion. In a note he states that since Utah has been accepted among time States of the American Onion, thus acquiring the right of controlling its own internal laws, polygamy appears to •be freely practised among the Mormon leaders, and numbers of women are constantly being enticed to Salt Lake City, where they are bound in this form of degrading slavery.
