STRATFORD v. INGLEWOOD. A match between the Stratford and Inglewood Clubs was played 'on Thursday on the Inglewood links, resulting in a drawn game. Seven games were finished, but the eighth game, between Dr. Menzies and Dowhirst, was not completed, though the Inglewood player at the time of cessation of play had the advantage of being two up and three to play. The game was therefore counted as a win to Inglewood. The visitors wore very hospitably entertained by the local players.
