Influenza is raging in the city and suburbs. The outbreak is severe, and many cases are turning to pneumonia. Referring to the suggestion to include farm labourers in the Industrial Arbitration Act, Mr Booby, said ho regarded the minimum wage and juvenile labour as the only items which could be regulated. The Minister for Customs lias decided that imported spirits must ho accompanied by an excise certificate from the country of origin showing that the spirit has been two years in wood. Perth, July 12. The revenue for the year was £3,850,439 and the expenditure £2,734,445. The State started the year with a deficit of £102,692, and finished with a surplus of 13,302.
