ALLEGED CULPABLE NEGLECT.
(Per Press Association.) Invercargill, June 27. .At the Magistrate’s Court to-day, Ernest William Challis was charged with culpable negligence, resulting in the death of William Arthur Mitchell. The case' arose out of the death of Mitchell, who, while cycling on the North Road at night, was killed as a result of a collision with a taxi-cab driven by Challis. Accused, who reserved Ills defence, was committed for trial.
