EFFECT AT OFOLIA. . (Per Pros': Association) Feilding, Last Night. Sergeant Bowden, in his annual report to [he Oroua. Licensing Bench,,stated that with a population of 10,fills in the electorate, there were’-U convictions for drunkenness during the past year, and of these 157 were persons from other centres. No females were arrested for drunkenness or on any other charge. There were no prohibition orders against females. The new licensing legislation preventing persons under 21 being served with liquor had had a most beneficial od'cct on the whole district, which had a wholesome record.
