The medical examination in Invercargill of men drawn in the last ballot will be finished today. Examination in the country centres is expected to be finished on October 8. A medical board has already completed its work at Milton, but sittings have still to be held at Gore, Balclutha and Queenstown. When these sittings are concluded all the men in the last ballot in No. 12 military district, with a few exceptions, will have been medically examined.
