BEQUEST FOR CRIPPLED CHILDREN
The Southland branch of the New Zealand Crippled Children Society is to benefit to the extent of £5OO from a bequest under the will of the late Mr James Reid Thompson, formerly of Dipton. Advice to this effect has been received by the branch from the Trustees, Executors and Agency Company. At a meeting of the branch it was resolved that the money, when received, be placed to a separate account, to be known as the James R. Thompson Bequest, and held there towards the day when the society will be in a position to secure the home that is so necessary for the proper care and attention of crippled children.
