OTAHUTI PATRIOTIC COMMITTEE
Since the inception of the Otahuti Patriotic Committee £320/16/3 has been collected from 37 householders in the district. This was disclosed in the report of the year’s working of the Otahuti Patriotic Committee read at the annual meeting of the committee last night. It was stated that £9l/15/- had been collected during the past year and for the coming year the committee hoped to raise £lOO. The following committee for the ensuing year was elected:—President, Mr R. Sim; secretary, Mr R. Shields: committee, Mesdames F. J. O'Connell, R. E. Hyde, W. T. Walker, J. E. McKenzie, G. Leith, Messrs T. McKenzie, W. McKenzie, J. C. Lindsay, G. Leith, S. Caughey, J. Slaughter, C. Moore and F. O’Connell.
