BOY FATALLY WOUNDED

(P.A.) BLENHEIM, September 23. A Maori boy, Samuel Grey, aged 16, suffered a fatal injury when he slipped and fell when carrying a shotgun at Wairau pa today. The gun discharged and caused a wound in the groin. The boy was operated upon in hospital, but did not recover.
