EXTENSIONS TO R.S.A. CLUB

GENERAL MEETING TO BE HELD The question of the proposed extensions to the present club buildings of the Invercargill Returned Soldiers’ Association is to be referred to a general meeting of members of the association to be held in a few weeks’ time. This decision was readied at a special meeting of the executive of the association held on Monday night. The executive

was of the opinion that the proposal was of such importance that members should have an opportunity of expressing their views upon it, and that, if any scheme to carry the proposed extensions into being was to be successful, the full support of the association would be required. It is understood that concrete proposals are to be placed before the general meeting.
