GOLF MATCH In the women’s eclectic match at Bluff Mrs Bragg returned the best card, her score being 48-18-30. The next best were Mrs Whaitere, with 56-14-42, Miss Casey 60-18-42, and Mrs Newman, 62-18-44. EUCHRE The prize-winners at the weekly tournament in aid of the Dominion Convent were Mesdames W. Lowe, W. Broad, Messrs A. Lowe and E. Walters. Play was supervised by Mr E. Fogarty. Before beginning the players stood in silence as a mark of respect to the memory of Mr M. McTigue, who formerly controlled the games.
