Can He Win Again?
Ajax has not been nominated for any of the Cups this year, but he is apparently going to attempt to win the Caulfield Futurity Stakes for the fourth time. He has won the race each of the last three years, and he has been nominated for the next Caulfield Futurity Stakes, to be run in February of next year. Rivette will not attempt to win both Cups this year, as she was not nominated for the Caulfield Cup. Bamber has decided to concentrate upon the Melbourne Cup with her.
