POURAKINO RIDING

MEETING OF PATRIOTIC COMMITTEE

Mr W. B. Hopcroft presided at a meeting of the Pourakino Riding Patriotic Committee.

The main business of the meeting was to finalize arrangements for a bring-and-buy sale to be held in the Gummies Bush Hall.

Reports from the authorized canvassers of the various districts which make up the Pourakino Riding were submitted to the meeting. From the promises received by the collectors it was thought advisable to prepare the following stalls: Farm produce, livestock, meat, garden produce, cakes and sweets, needlework. Various competitions of an entertaining nature were also arranged.
