FLYING-BOAT GUBA AT COCOS ISLAND

SUPERIORITY TO WAKE ISLAND CLAIMED (Received June 9, 5.5 p.m.) SYDNEY, June 8. The flying-boat Guba is still at Cocos Island. Members of the crew are the guests of the governor and the owner of Cocos, Mr Clunies Ross. The American personnel of the Guba declare that Cocos is far superior to Wake Island as an air base.
