BOXING DECISION

To The Editor Sir,—As a follower of boxing for over 20 years throughout New Zealand and a former boxer myself, I am at a loss to know how the decision was arrived at in the Baker-Adams contest. In my opinion and that of several more experienced men in the game, Adams appeared to win the majority of rounds. However, I am sure the judges will enlighten boxing fans by tabling their score cards and showing the fans how they are awarded the points.—Yours, etc., . EXPERIENCED. June 3, 1939. [The letter was referred to the judges, Messrs N. W. McGorlick and R. Bagrie, who said they had no comment to make on their decision.]
