Somersetshire, first innnings 250; second, one for 82. Somersetshire won by nine wickets. Surrey v. Worcestershire.—Surrey, first innings 396 (Squires 101, Parker 80); second, 211 for no wickets (Fishlock not out 100, Gregory not out 105). Worcestershire, first innings 163; second, 195. Surrey won by 249 runs. Derbyshire v. Oxford University.— Derbyshire, first innings 210 (Rhodes 80); second 72 (Pether five for 7). Oxford University, first innings 72 (Copson five for 12); second 47 (Copson five for 9, A. Pope five for 30). Derbyshire won by 163 runs. Hampshire v. Northamptonshire.— Hampshire, first innings 500 for nine wickets declared (Creese 241). Northamptonshire, first innings 299 (Timms 114). Northamptonshire followed on and lost six wickets for 280. Hampshire won on the first innings. Essex v. Middlesex.—Essex, first innings 403 (O’Connor 128, Avery 129); second, seven for 173 declared. Middlesex, first innings 353 (Compton 181); second, eight for 224. Middlesex won by two wickets. Cambridge University v. Nottinghamshire.—Cambridge University, first innings 239 (Blake 80); second 221. Nottinghamshire, first innings, nine for 418 declared (Voce 104); second, 46 for no wickets. Nottinghamshire won by 10 wickets. West Indies v. Lancashire.—Lancashire, second innings 256 (Cameron five for 23). West Indies, second innings 142 for three wickets (Headley not out 76). The match was drawn. Lancashire in the first innings made 226 and West Indies 236.
