Exhibition Match VON NIDA BEATEN BY A. MURRAY (United Press Association) AUCKLAND, May 14. A professional exhibition golf match j between N. von Nida, of Australia and . Alex. Murray, of Auckland, was played at the Remuera course and was won by | Murray on the last green. Murray was two up at the turn. Murrays figures were 74 (36 out, 38 in), this being two over scratch. Von Nida’s halves were 39, 37, total 76. MEDAL HANDICAP AT OTATARA The monthly medal handicap was decided at Otatara on Saturday afternoon. A cold westerly wind made conditions unpleasant and must have affected the scoring. The best cards returned were:—

Fairbrother won on the count back. QUEEN’S PARK CLUB A field of more than 70 took part in a Stableford handicap at Queen’s Park on Saturday.. G. E. Glennie had a fine round of 74, but it was not quite good enough to win, G. M. Buchanan equalling his Stableford points and winning on the count back. The best scores were:—
