Wheat Crops
While wheat crops generally in the Waimate district are somewhat disappointing, there are a number of notable exceptions. There have also been some outstanding yields in the Willowbridge district. One farmer there threshed 87 bushels an acre off 67 acres, and off a smaller area at Morven another farmer threshed 100 bushels. The other side to this 'is that one farmer in the district threshed 10 bushels an acre.
