APPEAL FOR “JUSTICE AND FAIR PLAY”

(Received October 27, 6.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, October 26. A woman dressed in riding breeches, boots, and coatee created a scene in the Legislative Assembly this afternoon. She chained herself to the gallery rail and cried out for justice.and fair play, vehemently protesting against the Minister of Education’s ban on her exhibition of posters in schools, which precludes her from earning a livelihood.

Parliamentary officials remonstrated with her, and had to obtain a hacksaw, to remove the shackles, They then escorted her out of the House.
