PREVENTING ICE FROM FORMING ON WINGS
PASTE EVOLVED BY BRITISH EXPERTS (Received October 26, 6.30 pan.) LONDON, October 25. Imperial Airways experts have evolved a paste to prevent ice formation. Smeared on the leading edges of the wings and the tail, it will melt ice as it forms. ’l'll.- Air Ministry Has approved the method of using the paste on aircraft employed on Empire routes in winter.
