Labour Week-end Train Arrangements: In this issue particulars are advertised of the main line train arrangements and extended availability of week-end tickets for the Labour Day week-end. A feature of the programme is the popular week-end excursion to Christchurch leaving Invercargill at 12.20 p.m. on the Saturday. Nearly 400 passengers travelled by this excursion last year and from the' number of inquiries already received it is advisable tc book early. Heavy traffic is also expected on the Inver-cargill-Dunedin section and to meet the requirements of week-enders the usual 6.40 p.m Invercargill-Christ-church Sunday express will also rim on the Friday and Monday. There will also be an extra express train from Dunedin to Invercargill on Friday and Monday evenings and a 1.15 p.m. Down express on the Saturday. Intending passengers are advised to retain the advertisement for reference and in wiew of the heavy demand for reservations it is advisable to book early.
