BASKETBALL The Clifden B basketball team played a match at Clifden against the Pukemaori B team, the latter team winning by 23 points to 20. Mrs Robin Gardner was referee. The teams were as follows:— Pukemaori.—M- Ridder (captain), C. McAra, N. Whyte, J. Burns, J. Todd, M. Todd, T. Evans, Cavanagh, Chamberlain. Clifden.—N. Scott (captain), F. Dixon, A. Dixon, S. Dixon, T. Knowler, E. O’Brien, G. Mair, M. Fahey, E. Begley.
