MAGISTRATE’S COURT

THURSDAY (Before Mr W. H. Freeman, S.M.) Thomas Francis Rutherford (Woodlands) appeared on a charge of having no warrant of fitness for a motor-car. Mr James Robertson appeared for the defendant and entered a plea of guilty. The defendant was convicted and ordered to pay costs 12/-. CIVIL LIST Judgment for plaintiff by default was given in each of the following civil claims: —H. McDougall v. P. Drummond (Myross Bush) for £ll 2/2, costs £2 18/-; Kurt Suter (Hollyford) v. W. McCutchen (Wellington) for £l2 12/6, costs £2 14/-; Margaret Elizabeth Macpherson v. Charles Herbert Humphries (Lumsden) for £8 16/8, costs £1 10/6.
