FAREWELL DANCE

PARTY AT SPAR BUSH The residents of Spar Bush and surrounding districts gathered recently to bid farewell to Mr and Mrs Frank Saunders. The evening was spent in dancing and items were contributed by Miss Margaret Cockbum (solo), Miss Gladys Steans (guitar solo), Miss Emily Steans (pianoforte sblo), Miss Athol McCrostie (step dancing) and Messrs A. and D. Ryan (duet). The music for the dance was supplied by Mr Le Petit (Otautau and Mr Cook (Fairfax). Mr G. McCullough was master of ceremonies. „ , The chairman, Mr W. McCullough, asked Mr C. Donald to make the presentations. Mrs Saunders received a dinner set and Mr Saunders a wallet of notes. Miss L. Saunders and Mr W. Saunders also were given presents. Mr Saunders and Mr W.
