WOODLANDS Miss N. Richmond, Mataura, and Miss D. Shirley, Invercargill, have been the guests of Miss P. Muir. Mrs K. Robbie, Invercargill, has been the guest of Mrs J. Robbie. Miss K. Lightfoot has returned from a holiday in Christchurch. Mr and Mrs G. Shirley and Miss A. Brown, Invercargill, have returned home after visiting Mrs W. Muir. Miss V. Frew, Makarewa, is the guest of Mrs A. Frew. Miss W. Renwick, Cromwell, visited Miss M. Campbell recently. RIVERTON Miss Winnie Cunningham, of Timaru, is visiting friends at the Rocks. Mr and Mrs J. A. C. McKenzie returned during the week from a visit to Queenstown. Mrs Johnstone, of Invercargill, was the guest of Mrs Pearsey, South Riverton, for a few days during the week. Mrs McKinnon, South Riverton, left early in the week to visit her daughter, Mrs Calder, Wairoa, North Island. Mrs Hopwood, Palmerston street, was a visitor to Gore at the beginning of the week. Mr and Mrs Lance Raymond have returned from a visit to the lakes district. Mrs Finlayson, who has been spend-

ing a few days in Invercargill, has returned home. Miss M. Daniels, Otaitai Bush, who has been visiting Invercargill, has returned home. Mrs Wyborn, of Dunedin, is the guest of Mrs Armstrong, Palmerston street. The Misses Robertson, South Riverton, are the guests of Mr and Mrs William Scobie, Albany street, Gore. Mrs M. F. Dawson, who has been spending a holiday in Queenstown has returned home. Miss V. McDonald, of Christchurch, is visiting friends in Riverton. BROWNS Miss B. Lambie has returned after spending a holiday in Dunedin and Brydone. Mrs I. C. Millar, Killinely, is a guest at the Celtic Hotel. Mr and Mrs J. McGregor have returned from their honeymoon and are living at Otapiri. Mrs W. Glover, Athol, is visiting her mother, Mrs C. Eggleton. Mrs A. Brown, Winton, is the guest of Mrs R. Hinkley,Miss Marjorie Mcllwrick spent the week-end with Mrs J. W. Paterson.
