STOCK DAMAGED

HEAVY RAIN AT INGLEWOOD (United Press Association) NEW PLYMOUTH, April 22. A sudden downpour of rain at Inglewood this morning in a few minutes caused damage to stock in shops estimated at £lBO. Accompanied by lightning the rain was extraordinarily heavy. The gutters were quickly flooded and, in a number of shops, the water found its way under the roofr to damage the stock.
